Changi Airport Group hosts final FTE Hub in-person meeting of the year

Li San Poh, Senior Vice President, T5 Specialised Systems, Changi Airport Group was among the speakers in the joint meeting for members of the FTE Hub and the FTE BIWG.

Corporate Partners of the FTE Digital, Innovation & Startup Hub came together for the final in-person meeting of 2023, which was hosted by Changi Airport Group on 7 November, the day before FTE APEX Asia Expo 2023 got underway in Singapore.

The meeting, which brought the FTE Hub Corporate Partners together with members of the FTE Baggage Innovation Working Group (BIWG), focused on the pertinent topics of robotics and automation, where huge advancements are being made to solve many real-world challenges in the aviation industry.

The meeting was led by Kevin Kleist, Sr. Emerging Trends Advisor, Southwest Airlines and FTE’s Head of Innovation, Digitalisation & Startup Engagement, and Darin Juby, FTE’s Head of Baggage Transformation.

It featured a packed agenda, with presentations from Li San Poh, Senior Vice President, T5 Specialised Systems, Changi Airport Group; Christopher Stein, Director Digital Services, Siemens Logistics; Harald Sieke, Head of Department, Fraunhofer IML – Aviation Logistics; and Samuel Layton, VP Operations, Singapore, Aurrigo.

The meeting was also streamed on Zoom for our Corporate Partners who weren’t able to make it to Singapore.
