Aeroporti di Roma on transforming travel experiences with technology, sustainability, customer-focused solutions and startup acceleration

Following his participation at the recent co-located FTE EMEA and FTE Ancillary & Retailing events, Future Travel Experience caught up with Giovanni Gennaro, Open Innovation Manager, Aeroporti di Roma (ADR). In this video interview, he shares how ADR – a Corporate Partner of the FTE Digital, Innovation & Startup Hub – is transforming travel experiences with its innovation programme and recent third ‘Call4Startups’, as well as the role of ADR’s Innovation Cabin Crew and Innovation Hub at Fiumicino Airport. “The third ‘Call4Startups’ closed in March 2024 and we received more than 700 applications,” Gennaro explains. “We can provide real added-value and mentorship from our Innovation Cabin Crew, and we are really looking forward to the proof of concepts (POCs) that we are going to develop this year.”
