Members-only activities at LAX and Odys Aviation alongside FTE Global

The members-only FTE Digital, Innovation & Startup Hub meeting at LAX kicked off with a keynote by Ian Law, Chief Digital Transformation Officer at Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA), who offered insight into how LAWA is embracing innovation and technology to enhance operational efficiency and the guest experience. Clemens Strauss, Managing Director, Oscar Bravo GmbH (a Lufthansa Group company) aso shared some key takeaways from the truly unique ‘Up & Beyond Event by FlyingLab’, which took place onboard flight LH452 from MUC to LAX on 17 September, addressing the theme of “Exploring Exceptional Experiences”. After hearing from LAWA and Lufthansa, the FTE Hub Corporate Partners heard from four pioneering startup members – Blueberry Technology, Cielo, EASE and Traxit – in a quick-fire startup pitch session. Members were then transferred to Odys Aviation’s HQ in Long Beach, where the group learned how Odys is building the next generation of regional hybrid-electric VTOL aircraft, before joining behind-the-scenes tours of the hangar facilities and cabin mock-up.
